Heartmoves Exercise Session - Nanango
A free Heartmoves exercise session led by South Burnett physiotherapist Louise Kenny will be held at Rapid Fitness at 4 Railway Lane in Nanango between 10:45am and 11:45am this morning. The Heartmoves exercise program is jointly sponsored by the Heart Foundation, Rapid Fitness and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program. It's designed for people who haven't done exercise in awhile, and it lets you exercise at your own pace in a supportive environment. - The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. The Nimue Art Gallery in King Street, Kingaroy (immediately next to the Carrollee Hotel) will be running a watercolour art class with well-known South Burnett artist Dot Rowland from 10:00am to 2:00pm today. Today's class is the first of three (the next two classes will be held at the same time and venue on November 14th and 21st). - The South Burnett Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group will be holding their regular first Wednesday of the month meeting at the Kingaroy Community Centre at 130 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am this morning. The group provides support for arthritis and osteoporosis sufferers and meets every month except January. Summer Soccer 7s - Kingaroy
The weekly summer Soccer 7s competition will be held at 6:30pm this evening at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy (ie the Kingaroy soccer grounds). The competition is open to players of all skill levels and abilities, and players who weren't registered for the 2012 season can pay a $25 social registration which will cover them until December 31.
