Taromeo Country Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their final bi-monthly Sunday social for 2012 at the Blackbutt Community Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 10:30am to around 4:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by the very talented Taromeo Country Music Club and guest artists from the West Moreton Country Music Club. There'll also be multi-draw raffles, a lucky door prize, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments and - of course! - lots of great country music and dancing. Garden Markets and Breakfast - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities Initiative and Growing The Burnett will be holding a "Market Garden" and breakfast at the Pound Street Community Garden in Pound Street, Kingaroy from 7:00am to 10:00am this morning. The get-together will feature market stalls; information about the community garden; and information about permaculture and organic gardening. There'll also be breakfasts made from local ingredients available for purchase, and if you'd like to get your hands dirty you're welcome to help with the Community Garden's routine maintenance or the day's project, which is building compost bins.
