South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Murgon Music Muster
The first day of the four-day Murgon Music Muster will get underway at the PCYC complex at the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon between 6:00pm and 10:00pm this evening. The Muster is being organised by the Murgon Rotary Club and tonight - and over the next three days - it will feature a wide range of country and bush balladeering talents. Tonight's show will feature walk-up artists and dinner will be available in the grounds too. Admission is just $5 and overnight camping is available in the grounds for between $5 and $7.50. Thursday Evening Dance Classes - Kingaroy
Social Dance Classes will be held in the Apex room of the Kingaroy Senior Citizens Centre at the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) at 6:30pm this evening. You can learn how to do the Gypsy Tap, Pride of Erin or some of the latest sequence dances - and don't worry if you haven’t got a partner, there are plenty of dancers to help you! It doesn't matter if you just want to learn, have been dancing for years or are visiting the area - come along for a great night out with heaps of fun and laughter. St Josephs Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Thursday Afternoon Golf - Nanango
The Nanango Golf Club on the D'Aguilar Highway at Nanango holds a 9-hole stableford game every Thursday afternoon for anyone interested in playing. Names need to be in by 1:00pm for a 1:30pm start, and new players are always welcome. More details? Phone the golf club on (07) 4163-1463
Murgon Golf Club Special Meeting
The Murgon Golf Club will be holding a special meeting at their clubhouse off the Bunya Highway just south of town at 6:00pm this evening to vote on starting extensions to the clubhouse building. All members are encouraged to attend.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
