Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch Meeting
- The second meeting of the new Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be held at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street, Kingaroy (behind the Kingaroy Visitor Information Centre) from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The Twilight Branch is a new branch of the QCWA for working women and busy mums which meets in the evenings rather than during the day. Wondai Wolves Training Night - Wondai.
- The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
South Burnett Saints Training Meeting - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Thursday pre-season training session for junior players (U8s, U10s, U12s and U14s) at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 4:30pm to 5:30pm today. Senior players will train at the Kingaroy Pool at the corner of Alford and William Streets, Kingaroy at 5:45pm.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
- Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
Diabetes Prevention Workshop - Murgon
- RHealth and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities Program will be holding the first of four free weekly workshops tonight which are designed to help people reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. The workshop will be held at the Murgon Town Hall off Lamb Street, Murgon from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. Over the course of four weeks participants will learn about physical activity; healthy eating; healthy cooking; and how to make smart food choices. Everyone is welcome but places are limited. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
