Karaoke Night - Wondai

- The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
South Burnett Computer Users Group Meeting - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Computer Users Group will be holding their fortnightly meeting from 10:00am today at the Orana Drop-In Centre at MacDiamid Street in Kingaroy. The SBCUG is a not-for-profit group that aims to help seniors get the most from their computers. Beginners through to the more advanced users are catered for with demonstrations and practical lessons. If you're interested in becoming confident using your computer, you're welcome to come and learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The meeting starts at 10:00am with an hour's break for lunch from noon to 1:00pm, and then continues to 4:00pm. St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Diabetes Prevention Workshop - Murgon
- RHealth and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities Program will be holding the first of four free weekly workshops tonight which are designed to help people reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. The workshop will be held at the Murgon Town Hall off Lamb Street, Murgon from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. Over the course of four weeks participants will learn about physical activity; healthy eating; healthy cooking; and how to make smart food choices. Everyone is welcome but places are limited. End Of Term 1
- The first term of the 2013 school year will finish this afternoon and school students will get to enjoy their Easter Vacation. Classes will reurn for Term 2 on Monday, April 15. The reduced speed limits that apply around schools during tem will also cease to apply from tomorrow (for a few weeks, anyway...)
Mason Rack - Yarraman
- Top blues band Mason Rack will be performing at the Royal Hotel in Yarraman from 8:00pm until late this evening. The Rack were headliners at the 2012 South Burnett Wine & Food In The Park Festival where they delivered a blistering set, and if you saw them there you can expect more of the same at the Royal tonight. - Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
