Burnett Cropping Update - Kingaroy
- BGA Agriservices, the GRDC and PCA will be holding a Burnett Cropping Update at the Redvale Research Station at 339 Kingaroy-Barkers Creek Road east of Kingaroy from 1:00pm to around 8:00pm today. Expert speakers will be talking about fallow weed control and spray application (1:00pm) and peanut fungicide strategies (4:00pm), both with field inspections and demos. There'll also be a winter crop update covering winter cereals and chickpea varieties, along with disease management (5:00pm) and an inspection of sprayed peanut plots using UV light (7:00pm), along with a 6:30pm BBQ. The event is free and guests can attend all of it or just the sessions that interest them, but to assist with BBQ catering an RSVP would be greatly appreciatedn by Friday, March 15. KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, QRME and the South Burnett Regional Council will be holding a Meet & Greet at the new Griffith University Teaching Facilities at Kingaroy Hospital (entry is adacent to the Farr Home Nursing Care Unit) from 6:15pm to around 7:30pm this evening. Tonight's meeting will welcome and introduce new GPs, Registrars, hospital doctors and Griffth University medical students to the community. Cards & Bowls Afternoon - Kingaroy
