Open Orchestra Evening - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Community Orchestra will be holding an Open Orchestra Evening at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to around 8:30pm tonight. The Open Orchestra is open to all South Burnett musicians regardless of age or experience, and provides a rare chance to perform with professional musicians. A series of Open Orchestra evenings has been arranged by the SBCO this year as part of a program to grow the region's musicians and there's no charge to attend. More details? Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

St Johns Open Day - Kingaroy
St Johns Lutheran School in Ivy Street, Kingaroy will be holding an Open Day at 9:15am this morning. School principal Helen Folker will be running a guided tour of the school and its facilities and answering any questions visitors might have. The tour will be followed by a morning tea. More details? Wednesday Wipe-Outs Ten Pin Bowling - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be holding a Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season. Wednesday Night Poker - Kingaroy

Music Explorers Meeting - Wondai
The Music Explorers group will be meeting at The Studio behind the Wondai Regional Art Gallery in Haly Street, Wondai from 7:00pm to 10:00pm this evening. This informal group allows amateur musicians and anyone with a love of music to get together to practice, play together, share tips and learn. New members are always very welcome! The South Burnett Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group will be holding their regular first Wednesday of the month meeting at the Kingaroy Community Centre at 130 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am this morning. The group provides support for arthritis and osteoporosis sufferers and meets every month except January. Today's meeting will be sthe group's AGM and new members are always welcome. More details? Heartmoves Open Day & Information Session - Murgon
A free Heartmoves Open Day and information session will be held at the Castra complex at 2 Cooper Street in Murgon between 10:30am and 11:30am this morning. The Heartmoves exercise program is jointly sponsored by the Heart Foundation, Castra and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program and will be starting in Murgon on March 20th. It's designed for people who haven't done exercise in awhile, and it lets you exercise at your own pace in a supportive environment. Today's get-together will explain how the program works and answer any question. Heartmoves sessions will be held at the same time and place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in future, and everyone is welcome. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. Nanango Country Quilters & Crafts Group Meeting
The Nanango Country Quilters And Crafts group meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango between 9:00am to 2:00pm. Members can get to pursue a wide variety of crafts at these informal gatherings and the $4 meeting fee includes morning tea (but BYO cup and lunch). There's also usually a raffle as well.
