Open Orchestra Evening - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Community Orchestra will be holding an Open Orchestra Evening at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to around 8:30pm tonight. The Open Orchestra is open to all South Burnett musicians regardless of age or experience, and provides a rare chance to perform with professional musicians. A series of Open Orchestra evenings has been arranged by the SBCO this year as part of a program to grow the region's musicians and there's no charge to attend. More details? The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be holding a Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season. Heartmoves Open Day & Information Session - Murgon
A free Heartmoves Open Day and information session will be held at the Castra complex at 2 Cooper Street in Murgon between 10:30am and 11:30am this morning. The Heartmoves exercise program is jointly sponsored by the Heart Foundation, Castra and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program and will be starting in Murgon on March 20th. It's designed for people who haven't done exercise in awhile, and it lets you exercise at your own pace in a supportive environment. Today's get-together will explain how the program works and answer any question. Heartmoves sessions will be held at the same time and place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in future, and everyone is welcome.
