Wondai Swimming Club Meeting
The Wondai Swimming Club will be holding their regular Monday Club Night at the Wondai Swimming Pool in Mackenzie Street, Wondai from 6:00pm onwards this evening. Cards & Bowls Afternoon - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be holding their regular Monday afternoon indoor bowls and cards competitions at their centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) from 1:00pm to around 4:00pm today. Social & Savvy Networking Night - Kingaroy
After a short break for the Festive season, the first Social & Savvy Networking Night for business and career women will be held at the Kingaroy Hotel's Dining Room in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm onwards this evening. Apart from a complimentary drink and nibbles on arrival and the chance to network with like-minded women to promote your business, the evening will also feature two great guest speakers: direct marketing expert Leonie Featherstone, who'll be sharing her top 10 sales tips; and image consultant Rita Noon, who'll be passing on some essential tips about how to dress for success. Close The Gap Day - Murgon
Graham House Community Centre at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon will be celebrating "Close The Gap Day" from 10:00am to 12:30pm this morning. Close The Gap is a national campaign to close the gap that exists between indigenous lifespans and those of the rest of the country, and ot aims to make them equal by 2030. If you come along this morning you can get to enjoy a great healthy free morning tea prepared by Graham House's Community Kitchen; talk with Caitlin Isaac from RHealth about current community health programs being run in Murgon; and find out about the services offered by the Barambah Health Centre, including specialist ones that are not widely known. St Johns Ambulance Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Division of St John's Ambulance will be holding its regular Monday night training meeting at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre at 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy at 6:30pm tonight. The group provides invaluable training in eveything from first aid right up to Advanced Responder for both adults and cadets (aged 8 to 17) and new members are always welcome. More details? Monday Night Basic Zumba - Wondai
A Basic Zumba class will be held at Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street at 6:00pm this evening. Bus Meeting - Hivesville
A meeting will be held at the Hivesville Hotel at 7:30pm tonight to gauge the level of local interest in establishing a new school bus run which would link Proston and Hivesville families with schools in Kingaroy. Parents who can’t make it to the meeting have been invited to share their views by email.
South Burnett Youth Choir Practice - Wondai
The South Burnett Youth Choir will be holding their regular Monday afternoon practice session at The Studio at the rear of the Wondai Regional Art Gallery from 3:30pm to 6:30pm this afternoon.
