South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Diabetes Prevention Workshop - Kingaroy
RHealth and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities Program will be holding the last of four free weekly workshops today designed to help people reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. The workshop will be held at the Kingaroy Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street from 5:30pm to 7:00pm and over the course of four weeks participants will learn about physical activity; healthy eating; healthy cooking; and how to make smart food choices. These workshops were a great success when they were run in January, but places are limited. Wondai Wolves Training Night - Wondai
The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
South Burnett Saints Training Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Thursday evening training session at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy this afternoon. Juniors will train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and seniors from 5:45pm.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
Play 500 - Murgon

Thursday Morning Zumba - Nanango
Zumba dance fitness classes will be held at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am this evening. The class fee is $5 and everyone is welcome.
Sunsuper Superannuation Seminar For Businesses - Kingaroy
Sunsuper will be holding a free superannuation briefing for businesses from 9:00am to 11:00am this morning in the Kingaroy RSL's Tobruk Room in Short Street, Kingaroy (registration is at 8:45am). The Federal Government has introduced several pieces of legislation which affect businesses which have to deal with superannuation issues, and today's seminar will explain the effects of these changes and how to deal with them. Women's Shed - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. The shed is open to all women who'd enjoy the companionship of other women while undertaking woodwork, metalwork or similar projects or who'd just enjoy a chat. More details? Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
