Lunch At The Taabinga Room - Kingaroy
Looking for somewhere different for lunch today? Then why not have lunch at the Taabinga Room Restaurant, which is located at the Kingaroy TAFE College on the corner of the Bunya Highway and Geritz Road, Kingaroy. The Taabinga Room Restaurant is the training restaurant for the Kingaroy campus where TAFE's apprentices and school students get to experience the hospitality industry in a supportive training environment. Students run the front and back-of-house operations. set up the restaurant for service, prepare, cook and serve the food and beverages and are assessed on these tasks throughout the day. The food on offer is very good and inexpensive too ($12.50 for a three-course lunch, $10 for two courses or $6.50 for one course). Today's lunch is being prepared by St Mary's Catholic College hospitality students and will be served between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm. However, bookings are essential. The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be resuming their weekly Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season.
