South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along!
Timbertowns Woodworkers
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. New members who are interested in learning woodwork are always welcome and you can obtain more details by phoning Marcia on (07) 4170-0389
Back To Basics Music Muster - Proston
The final day of the five day Back To Basics Music Muster will be held at 1385 Proston-Boondooma Road (13km west of Proston) today. The Muster will feature performances from Vanessa Sanger, Luke O'Shea, Rob Breese, Kerry Kennedy, Howdy, Jeff Brown, Alice Benfer, Reece Blinman, Lach McKay, The Rusty Ringers, Clarrie Weller, Clyde Cameron and Bob Walters plus walk-up acts and bush poetry. There's free camping onsite and toilets (but no showers) and open fires are allowed. Coffee and food vendors will also be onsite, but guests should BYO seating and liquid refreshments. Tickets to the Muster are $40 per head per day or $95 for a five-day pass but must be booked in advance. Tickets can ordered by phoning the organisers direct on 0412-884-482 or on the Muster website.
Netball Clinic - Nanango
The Nanango Netball Club will be holding a NetPlus Netball Clinic with Gabi Simpson for young players aged 9 to 13 at the club's courts in Appin Street West, Nanango from 8:00am to 9:30pm this morning. For $30, players will learn ball skills, attack and defence tactics as well as enjoy a Q&A session with Gabi and the NetPlus Netball team. You can book a ticket online through Trybooking.com

The monthly South Burnett Community Share will be held at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am (for a 9:30am start) this morning. Guests at this free get-together can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
