Blackbutt Camera Club Meeting
The Blackbutt Camera Club will be holding a meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 4:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month except December and January. The first Wednesday is devoted to practical photography (bring your own camera and equipment) and the third Wednesday to a review of those images and talks and tips on software (bring your laptop), followed by a committee meeting at 7:00pm. Circle Of Security Parenting Program - Kingaroy
- The first week of the Circle Of Security Parenting Program - a three week course in better parenting practices for parents - will run at the 1913 Council Chambers behind the Visitor Information Centre in Haly Street, Kingaroy from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning. The course teaches parents how to understand their child's emotional world and needs; help their child deal effectively with their emotions; instil children with confidence and self-esteem; and strengthen skills in observing and connecting with their child. Kingaroy Swimming Pool Re-Opens Today
- The Kingaroy Swimming Pool - which has been undergoing extensive repairs over the winter months - will re-open to the public today for the 2015-2016 swimming season. In response to public requests, the refurbished pool will have shade sails over the Toddler's Pool and the grassed area.
Connections Craft Group - Kingaroy

Celebration Of The Arts - Kingaroy
- St Mary's Catholic College in Kent Street, Kingaroy will be holding its annual Celebration Of The Arts at the Maryknoll Centre in the school's grounds from 5:30pm to 8:30pm this evening. The event will feature an art show, dance, drama and music performances by the school's students, and light refreshments will be served as well. Everyone is welcome!
Summer Soccer 7s - Kingaroy
The third round of Summer Soccer 7s will be played at the Kingaroy Soccer Fields at the end of Oliver Bond Street in Kingaroy from 5:30pm until around 9:00pm tonight. Wednesday Night Poker - Kingaroy

Nanango Playgroup Meeting
The Nanango Playgroup will be holding its regular Wednesday meeting at the Nanango Darts Club at the corner of Elk and George Streets between 9:30am and 11:30am this morning. The playgroup is a group of mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers who meet together each week with their children (aged 5 years and under) for interaction and fun. It's a great way for children to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. The playgroup also gives the adults a chance to meet and share ideas and experiences. - The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you!
