Proston Over 50s Club Meeting
The Proston Over 50s Club will be holding their regular third Tuesday of the month meeting and social at the Proston Town Hall in Rodney Street from 10:00am onwards today. The $2 admission fee includes morning tea and there'll be a communal lunch at around noon (bring along a plate to share). Members take part in various games, lucky door prizes and progressive raffles, and membership is just $5 per year, with bus trips are organised throughout the year. New members are always welcome! Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. Tuesday Social Dancing - Kumbia

SBCOnShow Meeting - Murgon
The South Burnett & Cherbourg On Show festival committee will be holding their latest monthly meeting from 10:30am to 12:30pm this morning at the old Murgon Shire Council Chambers in Stephens Street West, Murgon to work on planning next year's October long weekend event. Tuesday Night Basketball - Kingaroy
Tuesday night B-Grade basketball games will be played at the Kingaroy State High School Sports Auditorium at 6:00pm this evening. Spectators are very welcome.
Nanango Scout Club Meeting
The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years). Star Weaving Session - Murgon
Graham House Community Centre at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon will be holding a Friday star weaving session from 10:00am to 12:00 noon this morning in support of the One Million Stars to End Violence international weaving project. These sessions are free to attend and weaving materials are provided. The group aim to weave 4,615 stars in the South Burnett before 2018. Mayor's Community Charity Breakfast - Kumbia
South Burnett Mayor Wayne Kratzmann will be hosting a Mayor's Community Charity Breakfast at the Kumbia Hotel in Bell Street, Kumbia at 6:45am this morning. The breakfast is a fundraiser for the Mayor's Community Benefit Fund - which distributes funds to South Burnett non-profit community organisations - and there'll be a special surprise guest speaker.
