Maidenwell QCWA Meeting
The Maidenwell branch of the QCWA will be holding their monthly meeting at the Maidenwell Hall Supper Room from 9:30am this morning through until this afternoon. The branch meets on the first Wednesday of every month (except January) and all ladies in the Maidenwell and Bunya Mountains areas are very welcome to come along and meet the other branch members! Woolooga Hall Committee Meeting

Free Community Lunch - Kingaroy
South Burnett CTC will be running a free community lunch from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm today in the undercover area beside the Kingaroy Skate Park in Somerset Street, Kingaroy. Genealogy Group - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society will be meeting at Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 12:00 noon this morning to provide free instruction on how to research your family history. Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club's annual Summer 7s social competition is running on Wednesday nights from October 9 to December 11 at Tom Alford Oval, Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy. Games start at 5:30pm.

The Blackbutt Camera Club will be holding a meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 4:00pm to 7:45pm this evening. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month except December and January. The first Wednesday is devoted to practical photography (bring your own camera and equipment) and the third Wednesday to a review of those images and talks and tips on software (bring your laptop), followed by a committee meeting at 7:45pm. Free Community Meal - Kingaroy
A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
