Run For Your Wife - Nanango
- The Nanango Theatre Company's second last performance of their latest hilarious production, "Run For Your Wife", a farce by Ray Cooney, will be performed at their theatre at the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango at 7:00pm tonight. Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for concessions, and they can be obtained by phoning Jon on 0407-631-611 or booked online. Note: There's just one more performance, a matinee on Sunday, after today.
Arts And Crafts Day - Linville
- The Linville Progress Association will be hosting its fortnightly arts and crafts day from 10:00am to noon today at the Linville Community Hall, 42 George Street, Linville. Bring along your craft, share your knowledge or just come for a chat and a cuppa.
Friday Morning Bingo - Murgon

QCWA Scone Day - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy QCWA will be holding its monthly scone day from 9:00am to 11:30am today in its clubrooms at 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy. Come along and meet the members, have a chat and enjoy two scones with jam and cream (and a bottomless cup of tea or coffee!) for just $10. International Morning - Nanango
- Nanango QCWA will be holding its International Morning from 9:00am to noon this morning at the club rooms in Fitzroy Street (opposite IGA). The QCWA's country for study this year is Morocco, and there'll be lots of music and fun things to enjoy, including food tasting, belly dancing (!), henna hand painting and mocktails. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
- The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Friday Night At The Shed
- The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
