South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Nanango Campdraft
The third day of the three-day 2024 Nanango Campdraft will be held at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street from 5:30am this morning until late this afternoon. Today's events include Open rounds and final, Novice final and gymkhana events. Admission to the campdraft is free for spectators. A licensed bar, canteen and meals will be open over the weekend plus a coffee van and an ice cream van.
MISfITZ - Linville
Popular South Burnett duo MISfITZ (aka Rob and Clare Fitz-Herbert) will be performing live on the lawn at the Linville Hotel in George Street, Linville from 11:00am until around 3:00pm this afternoon. Admission is free. More details? Phone the hotel on (07) 5424-7280.
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Cooyar Hotel Markets
The new Cooyar Hotel Markets will be running in the grounds of the Cooyar Hotel on the New England Highway, Cooyar from 10:00am to around 2:00pm today. The markets feature Neil's fresh fruit and vegetables, market stalls, seafood, coffee and hot food. Community Pickleball - Woolooga
Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Murgon CBD Markets
The monthly Murgon Markets will be held in Lamb Street in the heart of Murgon from 6:00am until about 12:00 noon today. The markets run on the second Sunday of each month and offer locally made crafts, foods and produce - always an interesting Sunday morning out. New stallholders are always welcome too! More details? The Nanango Rugby League football club will be holding their Annual General Meeting from 10:00am today at Stags Oval. All positions will be declared vacant.
Sunday Sesh With Vix - Nanango

Pamper Morning - Woolooga
The Kilkivan and District Community Care Association will be hosting a a morning of pampering and fashion from 9:30am to noon today at the Woolooga Community Hall, at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. The $5 entry fee includes morning tea, and a licensed bar will be open. There'll be lucky door prizes, pampering, crystals and a home-spa demonstration. The nearby Woolooga Hotel will also be open for lunch.
Sunday Cricket
South Burnett U12s and U14s sides will be playing Fraser Coast teams today at Murgon Showgrounds in Round 1 of the Wide Bay Junior Intercity representative competition. Games start at 9:00am.
Nanango Netball AGM
The Nanango and District Netball Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting from 3:00pm today at the clubhouse at 55 Appin Street West, Nanango. All positions will be declared vacant.
Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
