Johnny Cash And The Outlaws - Kingaroy
- David Thompson, Jeff Carter Jnr, Michael Martin and Peter Ferguson - plus a backing band - will be paying tribute to country music legends Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson in a two-hour concert from 7:30pm this evening at Kingaroy Town Hall. MBDA Christmas Break-Up - Murgon

Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
- The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Cold beer and snacks will also be available at the clubhouse from noon, and the club's very popular Friday night dinner will be running after 5:30pm. Computing For Seniors - Nanango
- An information session to share some basic computing skills for seniors will be held at the Nanango Community Centre, 40 Henry Street, Nanango (the old Scout Den). Basic tech will be covered from 9:30am-10:30am; followed by BYO device to sort out problems from 11:00am to noon; and become "scam savvy" from 12:30pm-1:00pm. Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
- Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Big Scrub Garden Club
- The Big Scrub Garden Club meets on the last Friday of each month at different gardens in the areas of Durong/Boondooma, Proston, Mt McEuen, Kingaroy, Kumbia and Nanango. New members are always welcome! Email the club to find out where they're going to be meeting this month.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. Friday Night At The Shed
- The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer.
