Nanango Homemade Market
- Nanango Homemade are holding their first boutique handmade market this weekend at Ringsfield House, 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango. Ringsfield will be transformed into a Christmas pop-up shop from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday with more than 30 local vendors offering something for everyone! This is an opportunity to support local small businesses, and is supported by NaTDA and Heritage Bank Nanango. Coffee, morning tea and lunch will be available to purchase, and visitors can inspect the historic house.
Community Pickleball - Woolooga
- Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Blackbutt Country Markets
- The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along!
Kumbia Museum
- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Taromeo Country Music Club - Blackbutt
- The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their final bi-monthly Sunday social for 2024 at the Blackbutt Golf Club at 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 2:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by visiting and walk-up artists and there'll also be multi-draw raffles, door prizes, a money board, a licensed bar and - of course! - lots of great music and dancing. Admission is still only $6.00. Lunch is $10.00 and dessett $5.00. Everyone is welcome to enjoy some good, old country hospitality plus old rock, country, blues, folk and 60s & 70s music! Proston Khanacross Round 4
- The Proston Car Rally Club will be holding the second day of their weekend-long Proston Khanacross Round 3 at their race track today (the club's track is located 7.5km west of Proston at 757 Proston-Boondooma Road). Racing will commence at 8:00am this morning and wrap up in the afternoon. Up to 50 cars attend Proston Rally Club meetings from all over Queensland and NSW and spectators are very welcome. There'll also be a BBQ and soft drinks stand running throughout the event, as well as a hearty breakfast supplied by the Proston Lions club available early this morning. Caper Open Farm Day - Benair
- Bunya Red Farm, the South Burnett's multi-award winning (and only) caper farm, will be holding an Open Day from 9:00am to 4:00pm today to allow guests to see how capers are produced and try this unique product themselves. Cheese and caper tasting plates will be available for $25 from 10:30am to 2:00pm; there'll be paddock tours at 9:30am and 3:30pm; and alpaca feeding at 10:30am and 3:30pm. Football South Burnett AGM
- Football South Burnett will be holding its Annual General Meeting from 1:30pm today at the Kingaroy Senior Soccer Clubhouse, next to Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy. All positions will be declared vacant. NB. A complimentary lunch will be provided to members from noon.
Fingerlings Release - BP Dam
- Bjelke-Petersen Dam Fish Management Committee will be releasing Bass fingerlings at 9:00am this morning at the main boat ramp at Bjelke-Petersen Dam. This is always a fun morning for children. Everyone is invited to come on down an help with the release!

Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
- A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
