South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Run For Your Wife - Nanango
The Nanango Theatre Company will be debuting their latest hilarious production "Run For Your Wife", a farce by Ray Cooney, at their theatre at the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango at 7:00pm tonight. Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for concessions, and they can be obtained by phoning Jon on 0407-631-611 or booked online. Note: Six additional performances - including two matinees - will also be held at the same venue.
Select Committee on Nuclear Energy - Nanango
The Federal Government’s Select Committee on Nuclear Energy will be sitting in Nanango today to collect submissions from registered witnesses. The hearing will be held at the Nanango RSL Club from 8:30am today and is open to the public to attend. However, although anyone can attend the hearing, only those who have already been invited to give evidence will be able to speak.
KSHS School Formal
Kingaroy State High School will be holding its 2024 School Formal at Kingaroy Town Hall this evening. The first graduating students are due to arrive at the red carpet at 5:00pm but spectators should get to the Glendon Street forecourt earlier than this to secure a place. Note: Shared zone parking in Glendon Street will be closed from 7:00am. Motorists should also be aware that through access after 3:00pm will be restricted to formal attendees until 8:00pm.
Visit South Burnett Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
Local tourism organisation Visit South Burnett will be hosting a Meet & Greet at the Kingaroy Holiday Park, 48 Walter Road, Kingaroy, this evening. The get-together will begin with a park tour at 5:30pm followed by a meeting from 6:00pm where updates on VSB's activities will be provided. Nibbles and drinks will be available. White Ribbon Day - Cherbourg

Graham House's community connect worker and community support worker will be visiting Proston from 9:00am to noon today to provide information about all the various services that Graham House can provide, including transport, emergency assistance and parenting programs. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
