Blackbutt Christmas Festival Lunch
The fifth day of the 13th annual Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Club Christmas Festival will kick into gear art 11:30am this morning at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt when the hall's doors open for the annual Free Over 60s Christmas Lunch for Blackbutt and Benarkin residents. This Blackbutt Christmas Festival tradition provides a completely free Christmas lunch for Blackbutt's senior citizens, along with multi-draw raffles and live entertainment by John Harvey, but to get a seat you'll have needed to book a seat by November 24th (no tickets will be available at the door today). Kingaroy Golf Club AGM
The Kingaroy Golf Club will be holding their Annual General Meeting in their clubhouse off the Bunya Highway south-west of Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. All interested people are welcome to attend.

South Burnett Toastmasters - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Toastmasters will be holding their regular meeting in the Anzac Room of Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. Toastmasters is a great way to learn how to speak in public and boost your self-confidence, and new members are always very welcome! Meetings are held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of the month between 7:00pm and 9:30pm.
Mid-Week Markets - Kingaroy
Growing The Burnett will be holding their fifth Mid-Week Farmers Markets in Kingaroy today (and every Thursday until Christmas). The new markets feature fresh food and goods produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held in O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 7:30am to 1:30pm. St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Lift For Life Session - Blackbutt
The South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program will be holding a gold coin donation "Lift For Life" strength training program at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 1:00pm to 2:00pm this afternoon. This new program - which offers a six-month, low cost course in strength training for people of all ages and fitness levels - will help prevent and/or manage Type 2 diabetes and other chronic health conditions. Lift For Life sessions are held twice-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and if you plan to attend you should bring comfortable shoes, a towel, a water bottle and (if applicable) medication. Nanango Community Auxiliary Meeting
The Nanango Community Auxiliary will be holding its regular first Thursday of the month meeting at the QVCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just opposite Foodworks) from 9:30am this morning. The Auxiliary is open to both men and women and members enjoy a cuppa and snacks, play Hoy and other games, or simply sit and chat. Thursday Morning Zumba - Nanango
Zumba dance fitness classes will be held at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am this evening. The class fee is $5 and everyone is welcome.
Country Music Night - Nanango
An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Nansango Uniting Church in Gipps Street at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!
Thursday Morning Social Bowls - Wondai

The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
