A Musical Christmas Pudding - Murgon and Wondai
The South Burnett's 2013 Christmas season will officially get underway today when the South Burnett Chorale presents the first two performances of their annual Christmas Charity Concert series - which this year is called "A Musical Christmas Pudding". The first performance will be held at the Castra Retirement Home in Coopers Street, Murgon from 2:00pm to 3:30pm; and the second at the Wondai Uniting Church at 58 Pring Street, Wondai from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. These terrific concerts feature many of our region's very best singers providing stirring and heart-warming family entertainment that the Chorale's members have practiced and sweated over for months beforehand - and they do it all for local charities. Each concert lasts for around 75 minutes and admission is just $8 for adults (which includes afternoon tea or a light supper, depending on which concert you go to) while children under 12 are admitted free. Two final performances will be held in Nanango and Kingaroy next Sunday, December 8th. Everyone is welcome and if you've never been to a South Burnett Chorale Christmas Concert before (or have always promised yourself that you would), then make this year the year you start Christmas the right way by enjoying the magic only a live performance can provide. More details? Contact the Chorale on (07) 4162-1332 or send them an email.
