South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch - Kingaroy
- The Salvation Army and several other community groups and volunteers will be hosting the annual South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch at the Senior Citizens Centre in Avoca Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am this morning (lunch will be served at around 12:00 noon). The lunch is open to anyone - young or old - including single parents and those who'd just appreciate some company today, and has steadily grown to become a South Burnett Christmas Day tradition. Christmas Lunch At Dimities
- Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street, Wondai will be serving up their traditional BYO Christmas Smorgasbord Lunch from 12:00 noon onwards today. This is always a terrific all-you-can-eat feed - even Santa puts in an appearance to briefly chow down! - and it routinely draws up to 100 people. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
