KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding their first six-weekly Meet & Greet for 2014 at Sunshine Mitre 10 at 10 Rogers Drive in Kingaroy from 5:15pm to around 6:30pm this evening. Several guest speakers will be talking at tonight's meeting and there'll be the usual great socialising and networking too (you can read more about tonight's guest speakers on our website). Admission to the Meet & Greet is $10 - which includes light refreshments - and everyone is welcome, but to assist with catering an RSVP by Friday, January 31 would be greatly appreciated. You can make one by emailing Paula at the KCCI.
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
Bingo games will be held in Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening. Everyone is welcome.
Kingaroy Touch Football 2014 Sign-On
The Kingaroy Touch Football Association will be holding their 2014 Sign On for junior and senior players at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 5:00pm this afternoon (juniors at 5:00pm; seniors between 5:30pm and 6:30pm). Training will begin next Monday night and new nominations will be accepted then too - so if you can't make tonight's roll-up, turn up at the same time and place next week to get your name on the books.
St John's Ambulance Brigade Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Division of St John's Ambulance will be holding its regular Monday night training meeting at SES Shed in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:30pm to 8:30pm tonight. The group provides invaluable training in eveything from first aid right up to Advanced Responder for both adults and cadets (aged 8 to 17) and new members are always welcome! More details? The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school holidays. Art Exhibition Opening - Blackbutt
The Friends Of Cultcha will be opening their latest monthly exhibition at the Blackbutt Art Gallery Space in the Archie Muir Centre in Hart Street, Blackbutt at 7:00pm this evening. This month's exhibition will feature works by a Blackbutt artist and - as usual - tonight's opening will be accompanied by wine, cheese and all the fun of a Friends' event. Admission is $8 (with all proceeds going to Blackbutt charities) and there'll be a lucky door raffle, but admission to the exhibition during the remainder of the month is free. The show will remain on display from 8:30am to 4:30pm Mondays to Fridays and 9:00am to 12:00 noon every second Saturday until the end of the month.

Youth Choir Practice Afternoon - Wondai
After a brief break for the Festive season, the South Burnett Youth Choir will be resuming their regular Monday afternoon practice sessions at the Anglican Church Hall in Baynes Street, Wondai from 4:00pm to around 6:30pm today. The Junior SBYC will practice at 4:00pm; the Concert Choir at 4:30pm; and the Senior SBYC at 5:30pm. The choir offers group and (optional) solo singing of pop and classical music under instruction from qualified teachers, and supports the school music curriculum. New singers are always very welcome!
