Art Exhibition Opening - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Art Gallery in Haly Street, Kingaroy (opposite the peanut silos) will be officially opening their February exhibition at 6:00pm this evening. This month the Gallery has three exhibitions: a collection of 148 photographs by members of the Murgon Camera Club; "Time and Tide" by watercolour artist Cherie Sibley; and "Crazy Cat Lady" by younger artist Lynden Day in the Youth Gallery. This month's exhibition is one of the largest photography exhibitions the Gallery has ever staged, and many of the photogrtaphers exhibitibng have won local, state and national awards for their work. Tonight's opening will be a relaxed wine and finger food and is completely free. Everyone is welcome! Friday Social Golf - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Golf Club on the Bunya Highway at Kingaroy will holding their regular Friday 9-ers 9 hole social golfing sessions for men and women from 8:00am until dusk today. Junior Blue Light Disco - Kingaroy
- The first bi-monthly Junior Blue Light Disco for 2014 will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to 8:30pm this evening. Entry to the Junior Disco is restricted to young people aged 14 and below who can produce their student ID, and in addition to a fun night out tonight's disco will also have some great prizes to be won as well, courtesy of this month's sponsor Loot Homewares. Because today is also Valentines Day, everyone is encouraged to wear red. Admission is $5 and - as usual - attendees are asked to remember that Blue Light Discos are drug, alcohol, chewing gum and tobacco free and no passouts or early exit will be given without parental permission and/or collection. Country Music Practice Night - Nanango

- The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their first U18s Blue Light Disco for 2014 at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 6:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 11:00am to 1:00pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $35 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
