Evolution Solar South Burnett Soccer 7s - Kingaroy
The second (and final) day of the 32nd annual Evolution Solar South Burnett Soccer Sevens will be held at the Kingaroy Soccer Grounds in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy from 8:00am this morning through untl final presentations at around 3:30pm this afternoon. This giant pre-season carnival - run by the South Burnett Senior Soccer Association - attracts teams from all over south-east Queensland and is one of the region's major annual sporting events. This year organisers expect there'll be upwards of 45 mens and womens teams competing for more than $2,000 in prize monies and locals are also very welcome to form a team and join in! Today's games will be the finals from yesterday's matches and spectators can expect to see some top soccer action. Admission to the Soccer Sevens is 100% free for spectators and there'll be a licensed bar and full catering operating at the grounds too. Hivesville Country Markets
The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. Sunday Golf - Proston

Sunday Afternoon Darts - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Darts Association will be holding their regular Sunday afternoon Pot Luck Doubles darts competitions from 11:00am to 4:00pm at their premises at Shed 1, 18 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. A $10 playing fee applies, but that includes a great BBQ lunch. Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 12:00pm today. Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai will be holding another of their regular Lunch In The Country Smorgasbords from 12:00pm to 2:00pm today. The buffett features a selection of hot dishes, roast meats, salads, as well as sweets and tea of coffee, and the cost is a modest $15.00 per person for a really great feed (BYO). The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club will be holding a Motocross Come & Try Day at the motocross track on South Edenvale Road, Kingaroy today. Basketball Refereeing Course - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Basketball Association will be running a basketball refereeing course at the Kingaroy State High School's Indoor Sports Centre in Markwell Street from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. Rev It Up Race Meet - Murgon
The Murgon RC Group will be holding a Rev It Up Race Meet at Angelfield Aerodrome at the end of Macalister Street, Murgon from 10:00am to 2:00pm today (drive w-a-y past the Showgrounds along the dirt road and through the gate marked "Private Property"). There'll be a BBQ lunch and soft drinks available too. The group caters for radio-controlled car enthusiasts, and everyone is welcome.
