South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Aqua Fitness For Adults - Proston
The South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities programme will be holding the 6th week of a 10-week "Aqua Fitness For Adults" course at the Proston Swimming Pool in Collingwood Street between 3:00pm and 4:00pm today. The course features easy, water-based exercises and games for all fitness levels, Zumba and water aerobics and pool entry fees are being subsidised by the Council - all you need to bring is a gold coin donation, swimming togs, a towel and medication (if required). Managing Your Cashflow Free Business Breakfast - Kingaroy
The Burnett Business Centre will be holding a free business breakfast at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre at 6 Cornish Street in Kingaroy from 7:00am to 8:30am this morning. The theme of the breakfast will be how businesses can manage their cash flow more effectively through better collection and inventory management practices. Cats (The Musical) Information Session - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be holding their second (and final) production and audition information session for their 2014 stage show - Cats - at the SBMC Shed at the rear of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre, 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy from 7:30pm until 8:30pm tonight. The session will provide information about rehearsals, performances, auditions, costumes, make-up etc and if you're thinking about joining this year's production, should help answer all the questions you might have. After this, auditions will be held next Sunday 16th February (but you'll need to attend either tonight's session or the one held last Sunday to book an audition spot). More details? Nanango Probus Club Meeting
The Nanango Probus Club will be holding its regular monthly meeting at the QCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (opposite Foodworks) from 9:30am onwards this morning. The club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and meetings usually feature guest speakers talking on a variety of topics, as well as a great morning tea and chats. Wednesday Wipe-Outs Ten Pin Bowling - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be resuming their weekly Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season. Judo Club Training Night - Murgon
The Murgon Judo Club will be holding its regular Wednesday training night at the Salvation Army Hall in Macalister Street, Murgon from 4:30pm to around 7:00pm this evening. The Nanango & District Tennis Association will be holding a Childrens Tennis Fun and Learning afternoon at the Nanango Tennis Courts in Brisbane Street from 3:30pm to 4:30pm today (and every Wednesday afternoon until April 2). Sessions are based on the MLC Hotshots tennis fun and learning guidelines, and a parent or nominated adult must be present with all participating children. The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. The Reconciliation Fun Run committee will be meeting at the Boys Dorm Meeting Room inside the Ration Shed Museum in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg between 1:30pm and 3:00pm this afternoon to plan the inaugural Reconciliation Fun Run, which will be run between Murgon and Cherbourg on Sunday, April 27. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
