Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch Meeting
The Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be holding their first monthly meeting for 2014 at their new venue - the QCWA Rooms next to Kingaroy RSL in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy - from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The Twilight Branch is a new branch of the QCWA formed last year which is designed for working women and busy mums. It meets in the evenings and is separate from the traditional Kingaroy branch (which meets during the day). The Twilight Branch is open to all women who'd like to take part in QCWA activities and/or find out more about this highly respected community organisation. New members are always very welcome! Aqua Fitness For Adults - Proston
The South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities programme will be holding the 7th week of a 10-week "Aqua Fitness For Adults" course at the Proston Swimming Pool in Collingwood Street between 3:00pm and 4:00pm today. The course features easy, water-based exercises and games for all fitness levels, Zumba and water aerobics and pool entry fees are being subsidised by the Council - all you need to bring is a gold coin donation, swimming togs, a towel and medication (if required). Wednesday Wipe-Outs Ten Pin Bowling - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be resuming their weekly Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season. Free Budgeting Course - Kingaroy
If you're having trouble living within your budget or just aren't sure how to draw one up, the Salvation Army will be running a free budgeting course in Kingaroy between 8:30am and 4:00pm today to show you how to get on top of your finances and stay there. Judo Club Training Night - Murgon
The Murgon Judo Club will be holding its regular Wednesday training night at the Salvation Army Hall in Macalister Street, Murgon from 4:30pm to around 7:00pm this evening. Childrens Tennis Fun and Learning - Nanango
The Nanango & District Tennis Association will be holding a Childrens Tennis Fun and Learning afternoon at the Nanango Tennis Courts in Brisbane Street from 3:30pm to 4:30pm today (and every Wednesday afternoon until April 2). Sessions are based on the MLC Hotshots tennis fun and learning guidelines, and a parent or nominated adult must be present with all participating children. Kingaroy Scout Club Meeting
The Kingaroy Scout Club, which meets every Wednesday night during school terms, will be holding its regular meeting at the Scout Den in James Street, Kingaroy from 5:50pm to around 8:00pm tonight. Scouting provides instruction in an educational program of life and outdoor skills, mixed with games and craft activities, all designed to develop the physical, mental and emotional development of young males and females between the ages of 7 and 26. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
