Mid-Week Markets - Kingaroy
Growing The Burnett will be launching new mid-week markets in Kingaroy today (and every Thursday until Christmas) to test whether South Burnett residents would like to have a genuine Farmers Market in the area. Everything on sale will be either fresh farm-grown produce or products grown and/or made right in the South Burnett. The markets will be held in O'Neill Square opposite the Carrollee Hotel in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 7:30am to 12:00 noon.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Play 500 - Murgon

Nanango Community Auxiliary Meeting
- The Nanango Community Auxiliary will be holding its regular first Thursday of the month meeting at the QVCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just opposite Foodworks) from 9:30am this morning. The Auxiliary is open to both men and women and members enjoy a cuppa and snacks, play Hoy and other games, or simply sit and chat. - The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
