Blackbutt Camera Club Meeting
The Blackbutt Camera Club will be holding a meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 4:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month except December and January. The first Wednesday is devoted to practical photography (bring your own camera and equipment) and the third Wednesday to a review of those images and talks and tips on software (bring your laptop), followed by a committee meeting at 7:00pm. Graham House Community Garden - Murgon
The Graham House Community Garden group will be meeting at the Graham House Community Centre at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon from 10:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. The group tends a community garden and meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month during school terms. Man Cave - Kingaroy
- The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you! Wednesday Night Touch Footy - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Touch Football Association will be holding their regular Wednesday night touch footy competition at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (ie Red Ants Oval) this evening. Women's teams will play from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and men's teams from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Playing fees are $2 and spectators are very welcome!

MRV Tarong Basin Coal Presentation - Nanango
- Moreton Resources will be giving two presentations about its proposed MRV Tarong Basin Coal Project in Kingaroy at the Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango today - one from 12:30pm to 2:00pm, and the other from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Each presentation will cover the progress of the project and allow attendees the opportunity to ask questions and clarify information points. Each presentation can only accommodate a maximum of 30 people, but you can reserve a seat by phoning Moreton Resources on (07) 3831-6088. Seniors Having A Ball - Murgon
- The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a "Seniors Having A Ball" exercise class from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. The program is designed to address the issues that many have with ageing and it's not just for seniors! It provides light exercise to keep the heart and joints moving, improving coordination and mobility. It also provides a beginner platform to start any fitness activity on.
