Graham House Community Kitchen - Murgon
The Graham House Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Graham House Community Centre in Taylor Street, Murgon from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Community Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Proston QCWA Crafts Group Meeting
The Proston QCWA Crafts Group will be holding their regular meeting at the Proston QCWA Rooms in Rodney Street from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. The group meets on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mondays of each month, and you don't need to be a QCWA member to attend. More details? Phone (07) 4168-9391.
Event Bootcamp - Kingaroy
South Burnett Directions will be holding an all-day Event Bootcamp in Kingaroy Town Hall's Reception Room in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 4:00pm today (registrations at 8:45am). This workshop is aimed at people involved in mounting major regional events, and it's completely free. The workshop program will look at the power of events; strategic focus and business planning issues; obtaining grants, sponsors and partnerships; cost-effective marketing; how to measure event impacts; event networking; and will provide attendees with a template for their event's business plan and marketing strategy. A free lunch will be provided too, but for catering purposes an RSVP by March 31 is essential. You can make one by phoning (07) 4189-9174.
Kingaroy SES Training Night

Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Seniors Having A Ball - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a "Seniors Having A Ball" exercise class from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. The program is designed to address the issues that many have with ageing and it's not just for seniors! It provides light exercise to keep the heart and joints moving, improving coordination and mobility. It also provides a beginner platform to start any fitness activity on. As well as physical fitness, it also has a fun social atmosphere too. The class fee is just $4 for PCYC members or $7 for non-members. More details? Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
