2015 Murgon Music Muster
The third (and main) day of the four-day Murgon Music Muster will get underway at the PCYC complex next to the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon at 8:00am this morning with a Poet's Breakfast that will last until 9:30am. This will be followed from 10:00am until late by an Invited Artists Concert with this year's featured act taking the stage at 8:00pm. The Muster is being organised by the Murgon Rotary Club and it features a wide range of country and bush balladeering talents. Lunch and dinner will be available in the grounds too, along with an indoor bar. Admission today is $25 and overnight camping is available in the showgrounds for between $6 (unpowered) and $9 (powered) per night if you want to camp over. Kumbia Country Markets
The fourth Kumbia Country Markets for 2015 (run by the Kumbia Hall Committee) will be held in Bell Street and the precincts of the Kumbia Hall from 7:00am to 12:00 noon today. The markets feature homemade gifts, fashions, fresh fruit and vegies, plants and crafts and a sausage sizzle will be operating too! Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

Moffatdale State School Centenary
Moffatdale State School at 892 Barambah Road in Moffatdale will be celebrating its Centenary from 9:00am to 4:00pm today with entertainment, memorabilia and food stalls. Anyone who's ever had a connection with the school in any way - either as a student, a teacher or a member of the public - is very welcome to come along and join in the celebrations. Halloween Party - Blackbutt
A Halloween Party will be held at the Blackbutt Show Hall inside the Blackbutt Showgrounds at the end of Hart Street from 4:30pm to around 10:00pm tonight. The party will kick off with an event for very young children running from 4:30pm to 5:15pm; and then another party for slightly older children from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. A bar will open at 6:00pm and adults can then party on until 10:00pm. The event is being organised by the Benarkin State School P&C as a fundraiser and everyone is welcome.

The South Burnett Spiritualist Church will be holding a Psychic Fair at the QCWA Hall in Fitzroy Street, Nanango from 9:00am to 3:00pm today. Psychic readers will be attending from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Nanango and you can get a reading for $20 or a bit of healing for a gold coin donation. There'll be stalls selling crystals, clothing and other knick-knacks, and refreshments including $7 breakfasts and lunches, sandwiches and morning/afternoon teas will be available too. Everyone is welcome.
Halloween Party - Kingaroy
