Kingaroy Community Kitchen
The Kingaroy Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Thursday morning meeting at St Mary's Hall at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 9:30am to around 12:00 noon today. Comunity Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. BIEDO Morning Tea - Mondure
BIEDO will be hosting a morning tea at Mondure Hall in McConnell Way, Mondure from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning to celebrate this year's International Day Of Rural Women. Growing The Burnett will be holding their Mid-Week Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held in O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. Murgon Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing Group
The Murgon Spinning, Weaving & Dyeing Group will be holding a meeting at Graham House at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. South Burnett Toastmasters will be holding a meeting in the Anzac Room of Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. MBDA Breakfast Meeting - Murgon
The Murgon Business & Development Association (MBDA) will be holding their latest monthly meeting at Reflections Coffee Shop in Lamb Street, Murgon at 6:30am this morning. A highlight of this morning's meeting will be a presentation by the South Burnett Regional Council about the potential economic benefits the Kingaroy-Murgon Rail Trail will bring to the town, and a discussion about how Murgon businesses could best take advantage of them. The MBDA represents the interests of the Murgon community and meetings focus on new initiatives by the group's members which help improve the town and its immediate districts, as well as local issues that need attention - either at a purely local level, or via Council or the State Government. Nanango Tourism & Development Association Meeting
The Nanango Tourism & Development Association will be holding its regular third Thursday of the month dinner meeting in the Long Hai Room at the Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 5:00pm (meeting starts at 5:30pm). The NaTDA aims to assist, foster, instigate or manage any project that could contribute to the advancement of the communities in and around Nanango and represents the interests of the Nanango community, business and tourism operators. All interested people are very welcome to come along and get involved, and the meeting will be followed by dinner at the RSL's bistro. St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be hosting bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.

Circle Of Security Parenting Program - Murgon
The first week of the Circle Of Security Parenting Program - a three week course in better parenting practices for parents - will run at the Graham House Community Centre at 21 Taylor Street in Murgon from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning. The course teaches parents how to understand their child's emotional world and needs; help their child deal effectively with their emotions; instil children with confidence and self-esteem; and strengthen skills in observing and connecting with their child. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
