2015 Murgon Music Muster
- The first day of the four-day Murgon Music Muster will get underway at the PCYC complex next to the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon between 3:00pm and 10:00pm this evening. The Muster is being organised by the Murgon Rotary Club and over the next three days it will feature a wide range of country and bush balladeering talents. Tonight's show will focus on walk-up artists, and a freshly-cooked dinner will be available in the grounds at reasonable prices, along with an indoor bar. Admission today is just $10 and overnight camping sites are available in the showgrounds for between $6 (unpowered) and $9 (powered) per night if you want to camp over. Thursday Farmer's Markets - Kingaroy
- Boots & Bulldust will be holding their Mid-Week Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held at O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. South Burnett Toastmasters - Kingaroy
- South Burnett Toastmasters will be holding a meeting in the Anzac Room of Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. Toastmasters is a great way to learn how to speak in public and boost your self-confidence, and new members are always very welcome! Meetings are held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of the month. Country Music Night - Nanango
- An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Uniting Church Hall in Gipps Street, Nanango at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!
Proston SES Training Night
- The Proston SES group will be meeting at their shed at the corner of Collingwood and Nelson Streets in Proston at 6:30pm this evening for their regular weekly training night. New members are very welcome
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango

St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be hosting bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Murgon RSL Bingo

Thursday Colour Therapy - Kingaroy
- The Salvation Army will be running Thursday Colour Therapy - a relaxing, fun morning of colouring - from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at their building at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just next to KFC). Colours, paints, pictures and paper will be supplied so you can draw, sketch, paint or colour in, and you can bring your own project or start a new one. Admission is just a gold coin donation and tea, coffee and nibbles will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
Kingaroy Community Kitchen
- The Kingaroy Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Thursday morning meeting at St Mary's Hall at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon today. Comunity Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
