Blackbutt Christmas Festival Over 60s Christmas Lunch

The fifth day of the 15th annual Blackbutt Christmas Festival will kick into gear at 11:30am this morning at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt when the hall's doors open for the annual Free Over 60s Christmas Lunch for Blackbutt and Benarkin residents. This Blackbutt Christmas Festival tradition provides a completely free Christmas lunch for Blackbutt's senior citizens, along with multi-draw raffles and live entertainment by Blackbutt State School students, but to get a seat you'll need to book a seat by November 26 (no tickets will be available at the door today). The Salvation Army will be running Thursday Colour Therapy - a relaxing, fun morning of colouring - from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at their building at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just next to KFC). Colours, paints, pictures and paper will be supplied so you can draw, sketch, paint or colour in, and you can bring your own project or start a new one.
