Wondai Christmas Eve Carnival
- Wondai's traditional Christmas Eve Carnival will be held in Coronation Park off Mackenzie Street, Wondai from 5:00pm onwards this evening when the BBQs fire up and the hamburgers and sausages start to sizzle. This popular Carnival will feature amusements for young children; a BBQ plus tea, coffee and soft drinks; a $1-per-ticket ham wheel; a 50c-per-ticket goods wheel; great Super Draws; and Christmas favourites performed by the Wondai & District Band. Santa will also be putting in an appearance at around 7:30pm with free ice-blocks for the children. The Christmas Eve Carnival is always a really great way to get together with friends in Wondai at Yuletide, and it also helps raise funds for Wondai's annual show in August. More details? Thursday Colour Therapy - Kingaroy
- The Salvation Army will be running Thursday Colour Therapy - a relaxing, fun morning of colouring - from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at their building at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just next to KFC). Colours, paints, pictures and paper will be supplied so you can draw, sketch, paint or colour in, and you can bring your own project or start a new one. Admission is just a gold coin donation and tea, coffee and nibbles will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
Kingaroy Community Kitchen
- The Kingaroy Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Thursday morning meeting at St Mary's Hall at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon today. Comunity Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Thursday Makers, Bakers & Growers Markets
- Boots & Bulldust will be holding their Makers, Bakers and Growers Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held at O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. Old Time Dancing - Murgon

Aqua Aerobics - Nanango
- An aqua aerobics class will be held at the South Burnett Aquatic Centre in Henry Street, Nanango at 6:00pm this evening. Aqua aerobics is a fun, low-impact choreographed exercise class suited to all fitness levels and swimming abilities. Cost is $8 per participant. More details? Country Music Night - Nanango
- An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Uniting Church Hall in Gipps Street, Nanango at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!

- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be hosting bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
