Social BBQ And Drought Forum - Kingaroy
- BIEDO and Growcom will be jointly hosting a free BBQ dinner and community catch-up at the Kingaroy Town Hall Supper Room in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. The event is for South Burnett fruit and vegetable growers, farmers and graziers, and BIEDO will be outlining the services and support available for growers affected by drought, while Growcom will be outlining the projects and services that they run. Summer Soccer 7s - Kingaroy
The seventh round of Summer Soccer 7s will be played at the Kingaroy Soccer Fields at the end of Oliver Bond Street in Kingaroy from 5:30pm until around 9:00pm tonight. Eighteen teams - 12 social and 6 competitive - will be playing matches on two fields. Spectators are very welcome. The full Summer Soccer 7s match schedule can be found on our website.
Connections Craft Group - Kingaroy

Nanango Playgroup Meeting
The Nanango Playgroup will be holding its regular Wednesday meeting at the Nanango Darts Club at the corner of Elk and George Streets between 9:30am and 11:30am this morning. The playgroup is a group of mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers who meet together each week with their children (aged 5 years and under) for interaction and fun. It's a great way for children to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. The playgroup also gives the adults a chance to meet and share ideas and experiences. - The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you!
