Cherbourg Community Christmas Carols & Fireworks

Cherbourg will be holding its annual Community Christmas Carols service at the Sports Complex in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg from 5:00pm this evening. Apart from great carol singing there'll also be face painting for children; a sausage sizzle; lots of free giveaways; entertainment by local talents; and a giant fireworks display after dark, courtesy of the Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council. National Seniors Christmas Break-Up

The Murgon branch of National Seniors will be holding their Christmas break-up lunch at Moffatdale Ridge Winery on Barambah Road, Moffatdale from 11:30am today. All members and passengers who have travelled with the group on their bi-monthly bus trips this year are very welcome to attend. The Salvation Army will be running Thursday Colour Therapy - a relaxing, fun morning of colouring - from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at their building at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just next to KFC). Colours, paints, pictures and paper will be supplied so you can draw, sketch, paint or colour in, and you can bring your own project or start a new one.
