SupaIGA Kingaroy Christmas Carnival
- The annual SupaIGA Kingaroy Christmas Carnival will be held tonight at the junction of Haly and Kingaroy Streets in Kingaroy. The Carnival will get underway at 5:00pm and run until 9:00pm. This year's Carnival will feature amusement rides, slides, face painting, a baby animal farm, Blazer The Bear, food and craft stalls, raffles and prizes. Corky and Shaz from CROW-FM 90.7 will be compering the event, and Santa will be arriving at the old Railway Station in O'Neill Square around 6:30pm for photos. There'll also be live entertainment on the O'Neill Square stage from 6:40pm to 9:00pm, with performances by the KSHS Band, KSHS Choir, Ally Walker School of Dancing, Natalie Fenton and Jeff Hancox. Kumbia Progress Association Meeting
- The Kumbia Progress Association will be holding its 2nd Thursday of the month meeting at the Kumbia QCWA Rooms in Bell Street at 7:30pm tonight, preceded by an optional dinner at the Kumbia Hotel at 6:00pm. Yarraman Over 50s Club Meeting
- The Yarraman Over 50s Club will be holding their regular second Thursday of the month meeting at Kitty Cook House in Emmett Street. Yarraman from 9:00am this morning. The Over 50s Cloub is an active social group with around 40 members and meeting days can include activities such as cards, exercises, and choir practice, as well as lunch. Aqua Aerobics - Nanango
- An aqua aerobics class will be held at the South Burnett Aquatic Centre in Henry Street, Nanango at 6:00pm this evening. Aqua aerobics is a fun, low-impact choreographed exercise class suited to all fitness levels and swimming abilities. Cost is $8 per participant. More details? Thursday Colour Therapy - Kingaroy
- The Salvation Army will be running Thursday Colour Therapy - a relaxing, fun morning of colouring - from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at their building at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just next to KFC). Colours, paints, pictures and paper will be supplied so you can draw, sketch, paint or colour in, and you can bring your own project or start a new one. Admission is just a gold coin donation and tea, coffee and nibbles will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
Thursday Makers, Bakers & Growers Markets
- Boots & Bulldust will be holding their Makers, Bakers and Growers Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held at O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. Comunity Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
