South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
NaTDA Meeting - Nanango
The Nanango Tourism & Development Association will be holding its monthly dinner meeting in the Long Hai Room at Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 5:00pm (for a 5:30pm start) tonight. NaTDA aims to assist, foster, instigate and/or manage any project that could contribute to the advancement of the communities in and around Nanango, and represents the interests of the Nanango community, business and tourism operators. All interested people are very welcome to come along and get involved! Afterwards, the meeting will be followed by an optional social dinner at the RSL's bistro.
Proston Men's Shed

Connectivity Roadshow - Cherbourg
BIEDO will be running a Connectivity Roadshow at the Cherbourg Community Hall in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg from 9:00am to 11:00am this morning. The Roadshow will be addressed by representatives from NBN Co, Telstra, Optus and Regional Tech Hub and it aims to answer all questions about how to get the best connectivity possible at work or at home. Renewables Community Forum - Kingaoy
One Nation Senator for Queensland Malcolm Roberts and One Nation candidate for Nanango Adam Maslen will be holding a "Community Forum On Renewables" at the Carrollee Hotel in King Street, Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:30pm tonight to solicit support in the run-up to this year's State election. The South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club will be holding their regular Thursday meeting at their club's workshop in Shed 2 in the South Burnett Enterprise Centre at 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy from 8:30am to around 12:00 noon today. The classes are designed for all ages and all levels - from absolute beginners to advanced dancers - and are run in a family-friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Wesleyan Grace Community Food Hampers will be available at 40 Fitzroy Street, Nanango from 8:00am to 12:00 noon today. A range of food and freezer hampers are available for between $15 and $45 for people facing financial difficulties, but you'll need to BYO boxes or shopping bags. Simply pick a number at the front door and then wait for your number to be called to go shopping.
Murgon Men's Shed
The Murgon Men's Shed will be holding a meeting at their shed in Macalister Street, Murgon (the shed next to the former Murgon Railway Station) today. The Men's Shed meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to work on projects and new members are always welcome.
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
