BIEDO is bringing a roadshow to the South Burnett later this month to help demystify digital “connectivity”.
The “Regional Connectivity Roadshow” will be visiting Proston, Cherbourg, Wondai, Nanango and Kumbia.
It will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about mobile and NBN network upgrades and how to make this technology work for you.
“We’re pleased to be partnering with a range of internet and telco operators to bring the providers into Burnett Inland communities to discuss issues and opportunities,” BIEDO general manager Mistrel Badesso said.
“Four providers – NBN, Telstra, Optus and Regional Tech Hub – will be in attendance to answer all your questions.
“This roadshow is part of BIEDO’s commitment to deliver connectivity outcomes for the Burnett Inland.
“We look forward to seeing our communities take advantage of the ability to ask questions directly to multiple providers while they are in one room.”
The Roadshow will be visiting:
- Proston – June 19 – 10:00am-noon at Proston Town Hall
- Wondai – June 19 – 4:00pm-6:00pm at Wondai Memorial Hall
- Cherbourg – June 20 – 9:00am-11:00am at Cherbourg Hall
- Nanango – June 21 – 5:00pm-7:00pm at Nanango Town Hall
- Kumbia – June 21 – 9:00am-11:00am at Kumbia Hall
The events are free but attendees have been asked to RSVP via the BIEDO website by Friday, June 17.
