Art Exhibition Opening - Wondai
- The Wondai Regional Art Gallery on the roundabout at Wondai will be opening their latest monthly exhibition with a wine and cheese tasting at 6:00pm tonight. This month the gallery will be running two exhibitions: one of textile artworks prepared by Julia and Kirsten Jeffery and Jo and Sam Bowler from The Alpaca Collective in the front and rear galleries, and Tole'd In Paper & Mixed Media by well-known paper tole artist Rosemarie Matthews-Frederick in the main gallery, as well as works by children from Proston State School in Kidz Korner. As usual, tonight's opening will also feature hot and cold finger foods and punch, along with wine tastings from a South Burnett winery, live music and lots of fun socialising. Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Friday Night At The Shed - Nanango
- The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
- The Proston Golf Club on Brigooda Road, Proston will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. AAA Speckle Park Open Day - Haly Creek
- AAA Speckle Park will be holding an Open Day at their cattle property at 1243 Haly Creek Road at Haly Creek near Kingaroy from 9:00am to around 4:00pm today as a curtain raiser for their annual Bull, Female & Genetics Sale (which runs tomorrow). The Open Day is a great way to inspect the beasts up for auction tomorrow and ask AAA's owners any questions you need to.
Friday Night Rugby League - Kingaroy
- Two U14s rugby league matches will be played at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy this evening. At 5:30pm, the Murgon Mustangs will play the Murgon Wondai Wolves, and at 6:30pm the Kingaroy Red Ants will play the Nanango Stags. A canteen will be operating and spectators and supporters are very welcome.
Cuppa And Chat Group
- Kingaroy's Cuppa and Chat Group will be holding its weekly meeting at The Biscuit Tin behind St Mary's Church at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to around 11:00am today. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Murgon every Wednesday and Friday at 12:30pm at the Baptist Church at 94 Macalister Street, and members who can't make it in person can join in the meeting online via Zoom.
