South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Take 4 - Nanango
The Nanango Theatre Company will be debuting their latest production "Take 4" (ie four one-act plays by different playwrights) at their theatre at the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango at 7:00pm tonight. Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for concessions, and they can be obtained by phoning Jon on 0407-631-611 or booked online. Note: Four additional performances - including two matinees - will be held tomorrow and next Friday and Saturday at the same venue.
Proston Men's Shed

Street Feast offers food trucks, dessert stalls, boutique retail stores and live music seldom (or never) seen in the South Burnett, and the $2 per person admission includes the chance to win a $100 Street Feast Food & Retail voucher.

Kingaroy's Cuppa and Chat Group will be holding its weekly meeting at The Biscuit Tin behind St Mary's Church at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to around 11:00am today. The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Murgon every Wednesday and Friday at 12:30pm at the Baptist Church at 94 Macalister Street, and members who can't make it in person can join in the meeting online via Zoom.
