South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Community Meeting - Wondai
The Wondai Diggers Club will be holding a community meeting at their club in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 2:00pm this afternoon to gather feedback on a proposed ANZAC Memorial the club would like to erect on parkland between the club and Wondai's swimming pool to improve community safety and lower the cost of the town's annual ANZAC Day and Reserve Forces Day parades. Proston Men's Shed

Thursday Croquet - Kingaroy

Burnett Rockers Dance Class - Kingaroy
The Burnett Rockers will be holding their weekly Rock & Roll Dance Classes in the GB Hall at Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 6:30pm until around 9:00pm tonight. The classes are designed for all ages and all levels - from absolute beginners to advanced dancers - and are run in a family-friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Class fees are $15 and tea, coffee and water are available on site for a gold coin donation. Everyone is welcome!
Last Mass - Yarraman
The Yarraman Catholic Church at the corner of Watson and Barr-Smith Streets will be holding its final Mass at 9:00am this morning. The church is slated for deconsecration and after today, Mass will be celebrated in Blackbutt every Thursday at 9:00am. All past and present church members and supporters are very welcome to attend this sad but historic day.
Thursday Tai Chi - Kumbia
Kumbia's Tai Chi group will be meeting at the lunch room at the Kumbia Sportsgrounds in Bell Street from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. South Burnett Partnerships For Kids will be holding an Under 8s Day at Memorial Park in Haly Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. There'll be lots of fun activities for children and their parents can browse stalls to find out more about the services offered to parents by local agencies, or simply get a coffee. There's no entry fee and all parents with young children are welcome.
Wesleyan Food Hampers - Nanango
Wesleyan Grace Community Food Hampers will be available at 40 Fitzroy Street, Nanango from 8:00am to 12:00 noon today. A range of food and freezer hampers are available for between $15 and $45 for people facing financial difficulties, but you'll need to BYO boxes or shopping bags. Simply pick a number at the front door and then wait for your number to be called to go shopping.
Junior Girls Rugby League Clinic - Nanango
The Nanango Stags rugby league football club will be running a Holiday Clinic for U5s to U12s girls who'd like to get into Women's Rugby League at Stags Oval on the D'Aguilar Highway south of Nanango's CBD from 11:00am to 1:00pm today. Participation costs are $49 and all young girls (and their parents) are welcome!
Yoga Class - Blackbutt
An all-ages Yoga class will run at Blackbutt's Memorial Hall in Bowman Road from 9:00am to 10:00am this morning. Course fees are $4 per session and the class runs every Monday and Thursday, including all public holidays (except for Christmas Day)
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
