MBDA Business Get-Together - Murgon
The Murgon Business and Development Association will be hosting one of their bi-monthly MBDA Business Collaboration Meetings at Purser's Coaches at 40 Gore Street, Murgon from 6:00pm tonight. The meeting allows MBDA members to network informally over a sausage sizzle and they've become quite popular since they were introduced earlier this year. The meeting fee is $10 (to cover costs) and an RSVP to 0423-222-559 by June 10 would be appreciated to help plan the catering. All Murgon and district businesses are welcome!
Nanango RSL Auxiliary

Soup And Song - Wondai
Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai (opposite the art gallery) will be hosting a Soup and Song morning with singer Louise Winton from 10:00am to around lunchtime today. For $30 per head, guests can enjoy a warming cup of home made soup, tea/coffee and a selection of sweet treats along with some great songs delivered live. Wednesday Night Dance Classes - Inverlaw
Dance classes will be held at Inverlaw Hall on Burrandowan Road at Inverlaw from 7:30pm tonight. The classes are a great way to learn ballroom dancing classics like the Quick Step, Jazz Waltz, Swing Waltz, Evening Three Step and many more, and class fees are just $4. More details? Understanding Dementia - Wondai
Dementia Australia will be running an information session about the different types of dementia, diagnosis, planning ahead and how to support someone living with dementia in Wondai from 4:00pm to 5:30pm this afternoon. The session is free but to help plan the seating a booking is required. You can make one online or by phoning the National Dementia Helpline on 1800-100-500. Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 12:00 noon. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Yarraman Men's Shed
The Yarraman Men's Shed at the end of Mill Street, Yarraman will be holding one of its regular get-togethers from 7:00am to 1:00pm today. The Men's Shed is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and new members are always welcome. More details? Send them an email

The Blackbutt Tennis Club in Hart Street, Blackbutt will be holding 45-minute social tennis games from 7:30am this morning. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). And anyone who's finding it hard to make ends meet is very welcome to make use of it. More details? Phone James on 0438-071-658. Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Murgon every Wednesday and Friday at 12:30pm at the Baptist Church at 94 Macalister Street, and members who can't make it in person can join in the meeting online via Zoom.
