Kingaroy Swimming Club Swim Night
The Kingaroy Swimming Club will be kicking off their 2013-14 season at the Kingaroy Swimming Pool at the corner of Alford and William Streets at 5:45pm this evening with their first Club Night. There'll be a free sausage sizzle in operation from 6:00pm and new members are very welcome to come and try two swim club nights for free. Children who attend should be able to swim 25m Freestyle and Backstroke, but where required a senior Swimming Club member can be in water with them. Nanango Art Society Art Fest
- The Nanango Art Society will be holding their first Art Fest daily through until Sunday, October 13. The Art Fest will feature 3 major art competitions (a mural, a sculpture and an art competition) and there'll also be daily workshop, art and sculpture activities and demonstrations. Murgon Cricket Club Sign-On Day
- The Murgon & District Cricket Club will be holding their final 2013-14 Sign On at the Murgon cricket grounds from 3:30pm to 6:00pm this afternoon. The club is looking for seniors, juniors and coaches for the up-coming season and new players are very welcome! The South Burnett Darts Association will be holding their regular Tuesday night darts competition from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at their premises at Shed 1, 18 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. A $6 playing fee applies, but there's also a fully liocensed bar and raffles too.
