Photoshop Workshop - Nanango
The Nanango & District Camera Club will be holding a Photoshop Workshop at St Patrick's School library at 16 Alfred Street, Nanango from 1:00pm onwards today. The workshop will be preceded by a Camera Club meeting, and will begin after it's over at around 1:30pm. It will be led by Clive Lowe, a former Chief of Staff at the South Burnett Times and a well-known professional photographer whose outstanding South Burnett photos are often featured on southburnett.com.au. Topics that will be covered include file handling; copyright stamping; actions; layer styles; adjustment layers; raw shooting; and raw manipulation - all techniques that can be used with this powerful software to greatly enhance and improve your photos. The cost of the workshop is $25 for non-members of any camera club; $15 for non-members of the Nanango Camera Club; and $10 for Nanango club members, and this includes tes or coffee. Sunday Markets - Kilkivan
The weekly Kilkivan Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 11:00am this morning. The markets feature an array of locally produced fruit, vegetables and merchandise and new stallholders are always welcome! More details? Phone Dulcie on (07) 5484-1032
Blackbutt Lions Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held next to the Blackbutt Community Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and and freshly harvested foodstuffs and everyone is welcome along!
The Waterhole Rocks - Nanango
The third (and final) day of the three-day Waterhole Rocks rock 'n' roll campout weekend will get underway at the Nanango Showgrounds at 9:00am this moning with a big Show & Shine, along with live entertainment from Tine & Joe, with presentations occurring at 12:00 noon after which things will begin wrapping up. This new festival is devoted to all things associated with 1950s and 1960s rock 'n' roll. This includes hot rods, custom cars and vintage caravans. A bar and canteen will be operating too and admission today is $5. Camping will also be available at the Showgrounds for $8.50 per person per night if you want to bunk down on site. Sunday Golf - Proston

South Burnett Representative Cricket
The first representative games of the regional 2013-14 cricket season will be played this weekend. In Kingaroy, the U19s South Burnett XI will take on Gympie at Lyle Vidler Oval. (Kingaroy match has been cancelled) In Murgon, the South Burnett U13s will play Bundaberg at Murgon Sportsground. The South Burnett U12 side will play Bundaberg at Bundaberg; the U14s will play Bundaberg at Gympie and the U16s will play Bundaberg at Hervey Bay.
Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 12:00pm today.
