Art Exhibition Opening - Wondai
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery on the roundabout at Wondai will be opening their ninth monthly exhibition for 2012 with a wine and cheese tasting at 6:00pm this evening. Tonight's exhibition is the annual South Burnett Regional Council Art Competition for South Burnett artists, and it's always one of the Gallery's biggest exhibitions of the year. All three galleries will be given over to works in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolours and mixed media, along with sculptures, ceramics and photography. There'll also be a children's section on show too. South Burnett Mayor Wayne Kratzmann will be handing out $1000 in prizes and - as usual - the opening will also feature great finger foods and punch, along with wine tastings from Mofdfatdale Ridge. Admission is $5 and everyone is very welcome to attend! More details? Phone the Gallery on (07) 4168-5926 Note: After tonight's opening the exhibition will remain on show from 10:00am to 4:00pm every day until the end of the month.

Julie will keep you entertained with a wide range of music from the era, including songs made famous by Elvis, the Hollies, the Beach Boys, Del Shannon, Little Richard, Connie Francis, Helen Shapiro, Sandie Shaw, Lulu and lots more.
