Thursday Evening Dance Classes - Kingaroy
- Social Dance Classes will be held in the Apex room of the Kingaroy Senior Citizens Centre at the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) at 6:30pm this evening. You can learn how to do the Gypsy Tap, Pride of Erin or some of the latest sequence dances - and don't worry if you haven’t got a partner, there are plenty of dancers to help you! It doesn't matter if you just want to learn, have been dancing for years or are visiting the area - come along for a great night out with heaps of fun and laughter. St Josephs Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.

Pastel Art Classes - Kingaroy
- The Nimue Art Gallery in King Street, Kingaroy (immediately next to the Carrollee Hotel) will be running a pastel art class with South Burnett artist Margie Zimmermann from 10:00am to 2:00pm today. Today's class is the first of three (the next two classes will be held at the same time and venue on October 11th and 18th). School Holiday Entertainment - Kingaroy
- Kingaroy Shoppingworld will be providing free school holiday entertainment at Shop 28A (next to Big W) at 11:00am and 1:00pm today. Shoppingworld will be running Magic Scratch Bookmarks workshops, which show school children how to make their own brightly-coloured bookmarks.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
