Learn To Run - Kingaroy
Here's something different! The Go Getta Girls will be holding the first of four free, weekly "Learn To Run" classes at Memorial Park in Kingaroy from 5:45am to 6:30am this morning. The Go Getta Girls are a distance running club, but these weekly classes (which will be held at the same location and times over the next three weeks) are for beginners and will help you learn all the right basics, including the correct technique to avoid injuries and fatigue; how to select the right footwear; and how to develop a positive mindset and believe you can run. There'll also be advice about getting the right nutrition to support distance running and/or weight loss, and how to set goals, follow through and achieve them. All four classes are important, though, so you must be able to attend all sessions (ie October 16th, 23rd, and 30th and November 6th). You can obtain more details and/or register by phoning Colleen on (07) 4162-5146.
