South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Nanango Tourism & Development Association Meeting
The Nanango Tourism & Development Association will be holding its regular 3rd Thursday of the month meeting at the Nanango Golf Club off the D'Aguilar Highway north of Nanango at 5:30pm this evening (meeting starts at 6:00pm). The NaTDA aims to assist, foster, instigate or manage any project that could contribute to the advancement of the communities in and around Nanango. Murgon Seniors Meeting
The Murgon branch of National Seniors will be holding their regular 3rd Thursday of every second month meeting at the Murgon Bowls Club in Macalister Street, Murgon from 10:00am this morning - though you can come as early as 9:30am if you'd like an informal morning tea beforehand. And after the meeting, members usually adjourn to the Murgon Services Club for lunch. New members are always welcome! St Josephs Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Thursday Afternoon Golf - Nanango
The Nanango Golf Club on the D'Aguilar Highway at Nanango holds a 9-hole stableford game every Thursday afternoon for anyone interested in playing. Names need to be in by 1:00pm for a 1:30pm start, and new players are always welcome. More details? Phone the golf club on (07) 4163-1463

The Blackbutt Tourism & Heritage Association will be holding its regular monthly meeting at Nukka Nook (the building at the entrance to the Blackbutt Rail Trail off Bowman Road, Blackbutt) at 7:00pm this evening. Thursday Evening Dance Classes - Kingaroy
Social Dance Classes will be held in the Apex room of the Kingaroy Senior Citizens Centre at the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) at 6:30pm this evening. You can learn how to do the Gypsy Tap, Pride of Erin or some of the latest sequence dances - and don't worry if you haven’t got a partner, there are plenty of dancers to help you! It doesn't matter if you just want to learn, have been dancing for years or are visiting the area - come along for a great night out with heaps of fun and laughter. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. KSHS 55th Annual Speech Night - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy State High School's 55th annual Speech Night will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. Queensland Police Commissioner Mr Bob Atkinson will be this year's special guest speaker, and other highlights include the presentation of academic awards and the naming of 2013's school captains.
